What personal information you give to Linn Wold AS stays with Linn Wold AS. We do not pass on the details / information to third parties. There are a few cases where some outsiders will do certain services for us but then there will always be a strict and clear agreement to protect information security.

Why do we collect personal information?

We collect and process personal information in order to offer potential and existing customers the services and products that are available and provide the best possible customer service. We want to offer better and more relevant content to the individual customer, as well as create good and long-lasting relationships with our existing customers. It is also important for us to share good promotions and offers for you. In summary, we do this to give you a better experience with us.

What do we collect?

Below you will find a list of when and how we process personal data in the individual cases. Note that all processing is based on consent, with the exception of the collection of data at the time of purchase, where certain information must be provided in order to complete the purchase. In this case, the basis for processing is the conclusion of an agreement.

What is stored: Email address.
Use of personal information: To send out newsletters.
Storage time: Indefinitely. Until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or request deletion.

BUY IN THE ONLINE STORE:

What is stored: First name, surname, telephone number, e-mail, street address, postal code, place, item name, number of items, shipping options selected, name of selected payment method (eg Klarna Invoice) and price are also stored. Birth and social security numbers are only required when using financing services, and are not stored in the online store. Birth and social security numbers are collected and processed only by the payment provider. Company name, organisation number and contact person are required for company purchases.
Use of personal information: To complete a purchase in this online store, name, address and contact information are required for completing payment and sending goods, as well as sending out invoices where selected. The contact information can also be used to contact the buyer in connection with the purchase. Birth and personal identity numbers are used by the financing provider to be able to perform a credit check in connection with the use of invoices and financing services. The information will also be used for accounting purposes.
Retention period: The personal information is stored in accordance with the Accounting Act, and normally for 10 years after the end of the financial year. If an agreement on an extra guarantee on the item has been entered into, the information will be stored as long as the guarantee is valid, but not shorter than 10 years.

CONTACT FORM / CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES:

Where: Contact form in online store.
What is stored: First name, last name, telephone number, e-mail + inquiry.
Use of personal information: The information is used to be able to respond to your enquiry. If you have previously submitted an enquiry registered with the same name, telephone number or e-mail address, we will be able to see your enquiry history. We do this to be able to answer your questions better, especially if they are related to previous enquiries or purchases.
Storage time: The information associated with your enquiries is stored for as long as is necessary to be able to answer your enquiries.

CREATING CUSTOMER PROFILE IN ONLINE STORE:

Where: Under “My account / create customer”
What is stored: First name, last name, address, telephone number, password and e-mail address.
Use of personal information: The information is used to create a customer profile for you. In your customer profile, you can see purchases you have made in the store, as well as edit and customise personal information you have provided to us. You can also sign up for newsletters on your customer profile.
Storage time: The information associated with your customer profile is stored until you request that it be deleted.
Basis for processing: Consent.

This means that we can transfer your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna when the box is loaded, so that Klarna can manage your purchase. Your personal information that is transferred is processed in accordance with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

Google Analytics

This is our analysis program. We use this to, among other things, see where our users come from, how often they visit our site and where the traffic comes in from.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics and digital services.

Marketing

Google Dynamic Remarketing

We use Google Dynamic Remarketing to show you interesting and relevant offers on sites outside linnwold.com where you would otherwise see ads that might not be interesting to you.

Facebook Pixel

We use facebook pixels to use anonymously collected data in order to show you relevant marketing on facebook’s advertising network.

Snapchat

Obtains anonymous data for advertising in Snapchat.

What is the basis of the online store’s processing?

Linn Wold AS processes certain types of personal information. You will find the types of data we process in the overview above. Our basis for processing is in most cases consent, with one exception. This means that we collect and process personal data based on the consent of the data subject. When purchasing in our online store, on the other hand, the basis for processing is not consent, but the necessity for entering into an agreement in addition to statutory requirements for bookkeeping.

Your rights

Access to your own personal information: This is your personal information, and you have the right to request to see, update, correct, or request to delete your personal information.

This means that you can have the data sent to you, or you can be informed where you can find this data. Correction of own personal information: If you are registered in our systems, and perceive that we have registered incorrect information about you, you have the right to have this data corrected, or you can have access to correct this yourself. In some cases, we may need to request additional information about you in order to verify your identity before you can gain access. Contact the data processor if correction is desired.

Deletion of own personal information: If you are registered in our systems, but want us to delete the information we have about you, you have the right to this. If you wish to delete your data, please contact us via the e-mail address post@linnwold.no. We reserve the right that in some cases there may be reasons why the data can not be deleted immediately, if you have entered into a contract with us, and this data is necessary for the maintenance of this contract. In some cases, we may need to request additional information about you in order to verify your identity before you can gain access. Contact the data processor if deletion is desired.

Restrict processing of your own personal data: If you are registered in our systems, and wish to restrict the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request this. You can request that certain forms of processing be discontinued, or you can request that we end all processing. We reserve the right that in some cases there may be legal reasons why such restriction of processing can not be performed. Deletion of data can then be an alternative, if a general restriction is not possible according to current regulations. In some cases, we may need to request additional information about you in order to verify your identity before we can make the changes. Complaint about the processing of own personal data

If you wish to complain about the way your information is processed, or anything else related to your personal information, you have the right to do so. We hope you want to send an e-mail or otherwise contact the data processor (the contact information for the data processor can be found at the top of this page). The data processor is responsible for safeguarding your rights, and helps you with whatever you may be wondering about. You also have the right to contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you disagree with decisions or treatment methods at Linn Wold AS.
